Luz, lose, loose

In Spanish class I introduce
myself as Luz.
(me llamo Luz).
It means light, nearly the same as
que significa my birth name
Luz, lose, loose.
Loose, like my sense of identity;
Luz divina would be closer.
In Sanskrit my name means divine light.
Guiding for those who lose their way,
luz for the lost.
I try to be a light in the darkness,
loosen the edges of el oscuro with
what little glow I can.
I'm the only one who loses out.
When I look in the mirror,
all I see is my reflection.
